The fish market of Termoli is one of the most popular markets frequented by citizens and tourists who like to choose the fresh fish and genuine food.
The market takes place in the little square situated in Corso Fratelli Brigida, in the city center, from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. It consists of 11 boxes dedicated to the sale of the fresh fish. In addition to local fish, there are stalls with local vegetables, fruit, cheese, eggs and cereals. The market is adjacent to the Church of St. Timothy and for this reason is also known as Saint Timothy market.
The fish market and the fish wholesale market are not the only two markets in Termoli. Every Tuesday morning, in the crossroads near Polonia street, takes place the market for the sale of clothing, footwear, textiles and home accessories. In addition, there is the Market of Inghilterra street, which is active every day for the sale of food and not. Finally, in Piazza del Papa John Paul II, Via America and via Stati Uniti, takes place the fair of first Saturday of the month. With over 100 seats, it offers accessories and clothing of all kinds and it is expected by all the inhabitants.
